A parting

Oh, if words would come to me,
I would have said a thousand,
For so happy, and yet so sad,
I feel today,
I wish this journey had no end.

So strong are the memories and so vivid are the sounds,
So vibrant are those vibes of joy,
Of laughter and Of mirth,
It feels as if it was just yesterday.

I remember one night,
Illuminated by the whiteness of moonlight,
A cold breeze was blowing,
Spreading the seeds of delight.

I wish those hours had more minutes,
and months more days.
Oh, my life would be so better,
If I have friends like you,
Forever, always.
